Funeral arrangements have been announced for Evan Andrew Lilly, 33, of Athens.

While aiding a woman whose car broke down in the travel lane on SR 10 Loop late last Thursday night, Lilly was struck and killed by another car.

Lilly had worked at the University of Georgia, according according to an online obituary posted by Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home.

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross.  The family will receive friends at 1 p.m..
