Epps Bridge Centre Developer Confirms Marshalls and Dick's Sporting Goods Among Retailers Coming to Oconee
Other businesses appearing on a map briefly shared on social media Tuesday are unconfirmed, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.
What businesses would you like to see move into the future Epps Bridge Centre?
If a sporting goods giant, department store, and pet shop are on your list, you'll be happy to hear that Dick's Sporting Goods, Marshalls and PetSmart are among retailers that have signed contracts, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.
The newspaper reports the Centre will also be home to a cosmetics store, a shoe store, and a Christian-based shop. But developer Frank Bishop of The Bishop Company in the article said other businesses that appeared on a conceptual map shared on Facebook Tuesday are unconfirmed.
One confirmed tenant that has garnered a lot of excitement is the Georgia Theatre Company, which plans to open a 16-screen facility on Memorial Day.
What do you think about the confirmed retailers that are coming to the Epps Bridge Centre? What else would you like to see move into the area?

No offense, but there's plenty of "dollar stores" around the Athens area.
Personally if all the stores that are unconfirmed come, I'll be just fine w/that. Still I hope that a TGI Friday's or a Ruby Tuesday comes.

I would love TGI fridays also, but with no liquor license, that will not happen =(. Pier 1 is going in there, Yay! A great quallity shoe store is needed in my opinion.

TGI Fridays ^ Freaking YES. Also, maybe a closer Joe's Crab Shack or Provino's Italian Restaurant. Shouldn't have to go to Atlanta to go to these restaurants!

I'd also like to see a Capital One bank in Athens so I can use my Sony Playstation Card. (It's weird having a credit card that runs through a bank that isn't even local. On top of that, I keep getting mail from Capital One ANYWAYS for other things. I don't even own a Capital One bank account. But, it would be nice to see it around here since I checked the website and there's not one within 75 miles of here.)
