Child Molestation Report Under Investigation

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of child molestation.
The alleged incident occurred sometime between Sept. 1 and Oct. 31 in 2009 at an Oconee County residence. It was reported to the Sheriff's Office Wednesday by the victim's caretaker.
Sheriff Scott Berry said the victim no longer resides in Oconee County. Additional details aren't being released at this time, he said.
