Chicken Mull Stolen from Oconee Woman's Freezer

Someone took the stew from a garage on Old Bishop Road.

A hungry thief sneaked into a garage area on Old Bishop Road last week and removed two small food containers from a freezer, a resident of the home told an Oconee County Sheriff's deputy.

The burglary happened sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 5:48 p.m. on Feb. 25, according to an incident report.

The woman said about $14 worth of chicken mull was missing.

The deputy noted that the garage/carport is attached to the residence but there are no doors; therefore, it cannot be secured.
