The Georgia Department of Labor and South Atlanta High School’s Law and Social Justice Parent-Teacher-Student Association will co-sponsor a resource and career expo Tuesday, Oct. 9, in Atlanta. The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rosel Fann Recreation Center at 365 Cleveland Ave.

A number of employers, educational institutions and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers are expected to attend the expo. Employers will be hiring or discussing current and future employment opportunities, while other organizations will provide education and other resources.

Applicants are advised to bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and to interview for available job openings. Attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment.
