An owner checking on rental properties late Tuesday morning found a screen had been removed from the back window of a duplex located on North Burson Avenue.

The owner called the Oconee County Sheriff's Office and the victim who told deputies he'd been away for a couple of days.  The burglary occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 and 11 a.m. Nov. 20 and a flat screen television was taken.

The victim said it appeared other things had been rummaged through but nothing else was missing.
