Burglar Breaks into Old Farmington Road House Through Side Door

Electronics and jewelry were taken from the Oconee County, Ga., residence on Saturday.

An Oconee County woman arrived home Saturday evening to find busted glass on a side door entrance to the residence in the 2900 block of Old Farmington Road.

A burglar had forcibly entered the home sometime between noon and 9 p.m. and removed two televisions, a Nintendo Wii and a Sony Playstation.  Jewelry was also taken, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

The case is under investigation.

Also on Sunday, a resident of the 1000 block of Rankin Road reported the theft of her cell phone.  The woman told a deputy she left for about 10 minutes around 4 p.m. and locked her home. When she returned, she says a Samsung Galaxy phone that had been in the kitchen area was missing.

The deputy stated in the report that there were no signs of forced entry and nothing else was missing.
