Public Drunkenness and Probation Violation Charges in Latest Oconee Arrest Report

The following information was supplied by the Oconee County Sheriff's Office. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

 

Jan. 18 (as of noon)

  • Miriam Suarez, 19, of Athens, was charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.

Jan. 17

  • Kenneth Troy Cobb, 38, of Watkinsville, was charged with child molestation and sexual battery of a child under the age of 16.
  • Courtney M. Brown, 22 of Watkinsville, was charged with probation violation.
  • Phillip S. Dyess, 29, of Winder, was charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.
  • Andrew Grant Grindlesperger, 34, of Buford, was charged with driving without insurance, driving while license suspended and suspended registration.
  • Juan Manuel Salmeron, 25, of Athens, was charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.

Jan. 16

  • Lori Ann Wise, 43, of Watkinsville, was charged with probation violation.
  • Briana Marie Yslas, 20, of Bishop, was charged with simple battery.
  • James Darrel Harwood, 23, of Watkinsville, was charged with simple battery.

Jan. 15

  • Thomas Edward Corley, 51, of Watkinsville, was charged with DUI, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, open container and failure to maintain lane.
  • Ricky Keith Young, 25, of Monroe, was charged with two counts of burglary in the first degree.
  • Steven Onally Merenu, 31, of Stone Mountain, was charged with probation violation.
  • Dennis Delanor Lord, 59, of Bogart, was charged with public drunkenness.

Jan. 14

  • Theresa Herd, 52, of Watkinsville, was charged with probation violation.
  • Stanley Dak Ervin, 27, of Auburn, was charged with driving while license suspended and driving too fast for conditions.
