Registration is open for one or more of the following courses at the Oconee County Library.

• Genealogy 102: Census Records Online

Thursday, Aug. 23 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. this course will teach participants to navigate the genealogy databases Ancestry Library Edition and HeritageQuest Online. Attendees should have basic computer skills.

• Google Earth 102

Google Earth 102 course at the Oconee County Library on Friday, Aug. 24 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a small, hands-on course where participants learn to navigate Google Earth. Prior to signing up the library recommends attendees attend the Google Earth 101 class.

• Hotmail/Live Email for Beginners

The Oconee County Library will host a class on Hotmail/Live Email for Beginners on Friday, Aug. 24 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Attendees will learn to create and use a free account.
