The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is holding a free Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar that is open to the public.
The seminar is focused on learning personal safety tips and techniques you need to avoid dangerous situations and avoid becoming a victim, according to the NRA.
Pre-registration is required. The cut-off date for registration is Friday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m. The seminar will be on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
