Ecology Club for grades 6, 7, and 8

Sponsors: Mrs.Gast and Mr. Devine
Meets: Before school (Monday at 7:30 AM)
Criteria for participation: Teacher recommendation, academic eligibility, and willingness to work hard several days before or after school
Purpose: To promote environmental awareness through fields trips and service projects.  Students may engage in a variety of activities including hiking, recycling, monarch butterfly monitoring, and habitat preservation.  The club sponsors Earth Day activities and the annual Sapelo Island trip.
