Malcom Bridge Elementary Educator Named 'Georgia Master' Teacher
Oconee County Schools announced this week that educator Jill Joiner has been named a “Georgia Master Teacher” by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Mrs. Joiner is a fifth grade teacher at Malcom Bridge Elementary.
To earn this designation, an individual must have at least three years in the classroom as a fully certified teacher. In addition, there must be evidence that links the teacher’s classroom instruction to the achievement and progress of students assigned to the teacher, according to the news release from the school system.
Other Oconee County Schools teachers who have received the designation are Jolaine Whitehead of Rocky Branch Elementary School, and Lynn Hendren, a retired RBES teacher.
