Make Your Nominations for the Oconee County Schools Hall of Fame
Nominations are now being accepted for the Oconee County Schools Hall of Fame.
Each year the Oconee County Board of Education recognizes one or two former employees of the school system with induction into this distinct group. During induction stories are read from recommendation letters provided by former students and colleagues. A picture of new inductees is also place on the hall of fame wall in the board room of the superintendent's office.
Nominees must have been employed by Oconee County Schools some time during the history of the school system. Nominees also should have been out of the school system for a period of three or more years or be deceased. Nominations must include three recommendation letters.
Download a nomination form online or request one by phone at 706-769-5130. Nominations are due by August 31. All nominees will be recognized at the Board of Education meeting on Nov. 12.
